Pink Frost and Cassandra by Cameron Glen are two novellas linked by the same theme - psychic powers, and the power to prophesize.
While both are rich in morbid details, Cassandra is basically introducing the character Cassy to the readers, as the gifted one but also very attractive. Pink Frost is slightly on a different tone of domestic violence, murder, and molestation. In both, however, it is Cassandra, the character who propels the dramas. With a power to predict like Joan of Arc and Agamemnon's Cassandra from the Greek Trilogy, she is also the classic sufferer. Both stories move towards incredible endings. They are so unpredictable that one would jump out of one's seat at any cost.
Pink Frost is an interesting story that can be taken in many ways. Cassy is a teenager that lives with her father after her mother commits suicide. Her father abuses her in a lot of ways. Cassy dreams of an alternate universe where she lives with her mother instead of her father. A world where she is happy and that everything works out for her.
After she has the opportunity to switch places with her "twin" sister she realizes that she makes the situations.
Overall, it was a quick read that left me completely satisfied!
Cameron Glenn was able to create this intense story without leaving anything out. This story isn't very violent but I would warn the reader that it is a story about abuse.
This was a very original and interesting concept that the character went through. It's a story that goes beyond entertaining, but makes you think. I really enjoyed it.
I loved this book, It brought childhood memories back though and what I wish I could of done or thought of doing when the things were happening to me. Very good writing, and capturing alot of good details about things that happen in real life but not many of us who have experience it talk about.
Overall, not a bad book, really. There were a few typos, but those were easy to overlook. It's a story I'll probably remember a bit just because of the content, but the story line and the writing weren't bad. Worth the read, for sure. Also made me nostalgic for Lizzie McGuire ;)

This book was a lot deeper than others in a more serious way.
It opened for me the question of is there certain things in life predestined and unable to be changed?
It was not a easy read because of the material but it was a definate good read.
Although the concept of exchanging lives is not new, the author does a good job of describing the thought process for each of the Cassy's. I personally enjoyed the detailing given for 'dark Cassy' and the author's writing style. The story progressed quickly and kept me interested throughout. I recommend you to give it a read and you will definitely question your tiny existence on this vast planet!
